1. Introduction
    This document regulates Terms and Conditions of use of erasm.us - internet platform for people interested in foreign exchange programs. This document governs rights and responsibilities of both users and The Administrator of erasm.us.
  1. Definitions:
  • Website, platform, portal, erasm.us - website available at http://erasm.us
  • The Administrator - the legal owner and operator of erasm.us - xceed Michał Juda, Al. Komisji Edukacji Narodowej 57/138, 02-797 Warsaw, Poland registered in Registry of Entrepreneurs of City of Warsaw, number 478901
  • Visitor - person visiting and using erasm.us platform
  • Registered user - person who finished the process of registration on the platform by filling personal information required in the registration form. Every registered user is identified by unique username - login
  • Registration form - the form that enables users to register at the platform. It is available at http://erasm.us/en/sign-up
  • Privacy Policy - document governing privacy policy of the platform, available at http://erasm.us/en/pages/privacy-policy. Privacy Policy is an integral part of these Terms&Conditions.
  1. Access to erasm.us and registration process
  • Erasm.us is available free of charge and can be reached by means of the Internet network. Some features of the website (like sending private messages to other members, adding reviews of universities) are available only for registered users.
  • The Administrator reserves right to verify e-mail address submitted by user in the registration form by sending an e-mail containing activation link.
  • By filling and submitting the registration form, user:
    • Declares, that he/she has read and accepts Terms and Conditions of the website
    • Declares, that he/she has read and accepts Privacy Policy of the website
    • Agrees for processing the personal information submitted in the registration process by the Administrator, in accordance with the Privacy Policy of the website.
  • User account can be deleted on request of the user, submitted via the contact form available at  http://erasm.us/en/pages/contact, or by decision of the Administrator. The Administrator can delete user's  account when user violates Terms and Conditions of the website, or because of his/her misconduct towards other users or the website.
  1. Conditions of use
  • Erasm.us was created to help all the European students organize their study time abroad. Erasm.us is neutral when it comes to worldview or political sympathies. Users of the website are obliged to obey law, rules of proper conduct and Internet etiquette. Every manifestation of aggression, intolerance or behavior that is not in line with polish or international law will be pursued by the Administrator. The consequence can be removal of the user account.
  • It is prohibited to post to the website content that: is hateful, threatening, or pornographic; incites violence; or contains nudity or graphic or gratuitous violence.
  • It is prohibited to post unauthorized commercial communications (spam) both as private messages and on the forums.
  • It is prohibited to carry commercial or promotional activity on the website without written consent of the Administrator.
  • It is prohibited to destabilize or disrupt the proper working of the website and its server. Any attempts of doing so will be prosecuted.
  • When using the website user agrees to:
    • respect for copyrights and intellectual property rights of both the Administrator and third parties,
    • not to carry activities that can bring harm to other users or the Administrator,
    • not to carry activities that in any way violate the privacy of other users, with particular emphasis on the collection, processing and dissemination of personal data and information about other users without their consent and knowledge.
  • User declares that that all the content posted by him on the website do not violate any copyright or personal rights of third parties. When posting content presenting other people (such as photos) user declares that he/she has their consent to do so.
  • When user posts to the website content covered by the intellectual property rights, he/she grants the Administrator a non-exclusive, transferable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use this content. Some of this content (in particular posts on the forum and the opinions about foreign universities) may be used and distributed by the the Administrator after the removal of user account.
  • The Administrator takes no responsibility for any views expressed by users, and is not responsible for the accuracy of users opinions and any decisions arising from them.
  1. Classifieds
  • One of the features offered by erasm.us is classifieds system for registered users.
  • Users creating classifieds take full responsibility for their content. The Administrator doesn't verify the classifieds in any way and cannot guarantee their accuracy.
  • The Administrator takes no responsibility for any decisions or agreements arising from the classifieds on the website.
  1. Copyrights

    Exclusive copyrights to the site belong to xceed Michał Juda, Al. Komisji Edukacji Narodowej 36/11, 02-797 Warsaw, Poland registered in Registry of Entrepreneurs of City of Warsaw, number 478901. Copyrights associated with the service are protected in accordance with Polish and European law. Page content, graphics, documents, and presentation of information are protected by law. No part of erasm.us may not be copied, duplicated, reproduced, processed, used, published on the Internet and other media in any form, without the knowledge or consent of the Administrator.
  1. Responsibility
  • The aim of  the Administrator is to ensure the highest quality of service. The Administrator assume no responsibility for any disruption in the functioning of erasm.us, even if it causes loss of users data.
  • The Administrator does not give any guarantee that all the features of the website service will work properly. The Administrator takes no responsibility for eventual damage that may arise as a result of failure or interruptions in the functioning of these features.
  • The Administrator is not responsible for the quality and continuity of Internet access as well as for any damages resulting from errors, failures and interruptions in access to the Internet.
  • The Administrator reserves the right to technical breaks to make changes and improvements to the site. These breaks may prevent users from using the service.

  • These Terms and Conditions are available at http://erasm.us/en/pages/terms-of-use
  • The Administrator reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time and without giving any reason.
  • When changing Terms and Conditions, the Administrator shall notify users about the changes and change the version and effective date below.
